The Gili bathtubs are all manufactured with a structural
steel tube chassis of the highest performance
offered by the market.

They are always oversized for their maximum rated weight
so they can withstand the most demanding loads.

All of this is supervised by our highly qualified
engineering team, using the best design and
strength calculation software.

CONSTRUCTION OF SPREADERS

The welds are all tested with the best machines.

All welding is carried out with synergic
pulse‑arc machines, which allows us to achieve a weld
penetration of about 70% compared with a standard mig‑mag
welding machine.

These machines also provide a much better
weld finish.

WELDINGS

All our machines are painted with two-component polyurethane,
paints, both primer and enamel.

Two coats of polyurethane primer and one
topcoat of the highest-quality enamel are applied, all of it
painted and oven-dried.

RUNNING GEAR

The suspensions on our machines, in the case of single-axle machines, are all fitted with cast supports and parabolic leaf springs.

Parabolic leaf springs have certain advantages over multi-leaf springs:

Lower unladen weight
More modern
More elegant and better appearance
Higher dynamic load capacity
Our 75 mm model widths (multi-leaf springs are usually 70 mm wide)

Cast supports, steel leaf-spring clamps with a seat so that the U-bolt works properly across its entire surface, thus preventing possible breakages, and steel bushings on all pins.

CHASSIS STRUCTURE

The chassis is the foundation of a machine’s strength, stability, and efficiency. For this reason, we have designed several key elements:

Preparation for weighing systems, as knowing the transferred load during harvesting is essential.
V-shaped frames to lower the machine’s center of gravity by integrating the horizontal auger as much as possible, while providing a uniform shape to the bottom of the tank for quick and easy emptying.
A drawbar fixed to the chassis at two points to provide greater stability with optimized load capacity. Complemented by hydraulic suspension, its adjustment allows for better load distribution between the tractor and the axles according to specific needs.

DRAWBAR

The drawbar of our chaser bins is attached to the sides of the chassis. Available as standard fixed or with hydraulic suspension depending on requirements, both can be adjusted for height.

Fixed: the standard-mounted drawbar is a wide drawbar attached to the sides of the chassis for greater stability. It can be adjusted in height (3 different heights) depending on the tractor coupling height and the chosen tires.

Hydraulic: the hydraulic suspension with nitrogen accumulator, the more versatile of the two, allows the drawbar damping to be adjusted at any time depending on whether the tractor is in the field or on the road, based on the load, the load height, and the load distribution in the box. This setup, adjustable from the tractor, allows the inclination and behavior of the unit to be corrected for greater comfort and foolproof driving, even when loaded. Additionally, when leaving a field, it allows the front axle to be released so the tractor can regain traction.

BODY STRUCTURE

As with the lower chassis, all our bodies feature a chassis made of S355 structural steel tubing.

The body chassis are integrated with the lower chassis to reduce height and increase stability.

All standard floors are made with 4 mm sheet metal.

The floor ribs are made of 100*70*4 mm thick folded sheet metal and are placed every 450 mm.

The side panels are all made of industrial sheet metal with drawn folds; the sides are manufactured with 2.5 mm sheet metal.

All side panels are removable with TIR-type hinges.

The rear door always comes with a three-position opening system.

The stanchions are tapered cast iron for easy assembly and disassembly.

HYDRAULIC INSTALLATIONS

All the hydraulic lines in our machines are high-pressure resistant, and are fitted with galvanized steel piping and R2 hoses.

All pipes are guided with plastic clamps.

At the front, the hoses come out from the top so that we can avoid catching them with the hydraulic arms.

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS

All electrical installations comply with the latest DGT regulations

All of them feature full LED lighting

The cables are properly protected to prevent premature aging

All electrical materials from Gili are from the leading and best brands on the market.
