THE TANKERS OF THE FUTURE ARE HERE.

At GILI, all tankers are built with high-strength carbon steel plate with a high yield point to ensure great resistance and, at the same time, high torsion to prevent future breakages; the steel plate quality is S355-J2-G6. The tankers are rolled using a CNC plate bending machine to achieve a precise and perfect circumference.

After rolling, all shells are welded internally and externally; internal welding is performed using pulsed arc inverter welding, while external welding is robotized using submerged arc welding.
